GG, I recently learned a secret(from me anyway) about how he created his images, A. Rackham that is. I've always loved his bits and pieces... You know I don't know anything about him. How do I let these holes in my education happen? There is no excuse!!! A few clicks and you can find out anything you want to know, but so many times I forget this fact.
David thank you, can you tell I have been on the receiving end of bees in a rage? My dad kept hives of bees; one afternoon, while he was at work, my mom decided it was time to rob the biggest hive... have you ever seen a cartoon where there is a huge swarm after the main character? I've seen it for real! Hheheheh!

Coreopsis(don't you love that wild flower) I'm a texture freak in a time of Simple's where it is going on, but you know, texture will be back and I'm just going to keep on doing what interests me. Glad you saw the distortions...fun stuff as it twists around, It was more so, but I killed some of them to give a better read. My main interest in this was the expression and the z space.
This one would truly strike fear into the heart of my cousin, who was so allergic to bees as a child that once when a bee landed on and walked across his arm, he was left with a rash of tiny welts where the bee had walked.
GG,actually I started looking up info about him last night... did you know Tim Burton lives in his house? Burton was the director of the newest Alice through the looking glass and a version of Sleepy Hollow, both with Johnny Depp. I read Washington Irving's Sleepy Hollow last month. It is on Gutenberg ebooks for free. I was so impressed with the quality of writing. Creepylisous. If you have Kindle for PC (which is free from Amazon) Sleepy Hollow will load right into it and makes for a much more comfortable read. It's format is easier to use than just a regular PDF. As a side note, I'm in love with early 1900's children's book illustrations and have been collecting them. Bauer and Donn Crane are two other favorites

GG, bless your heart! We all have sweaty palms this time of year. My computer has been down with a blown motherboard for the last month... not being to keep track of the radar and having to wait out some tense minuted with family in paths of destruction has been rough. I'm going to post a pic of what my daughter-in- law went through today. SO FAR SO GOOD here. Some scary moments though and the season isn't over yet...every day it is a "keep your eyes on the sky, your ears on the weather channel and your fingers and toes crossed' day. Cold and dry tonight so will get some real sleep! Until tomorrow. :)
