I'm trying out GIMP, so far it's surprisingly easy to learn and well stocked with goodies. More to download and the best part is it's all free.

Pro editing skills there bro! I do some photo editing with gimp and am getting better with it, but it's more for fun then any artistic reason.

The more you work at it the faster you get!

Hi there MM1...thanks for the comment. I am having a great time with GIMP, it has really grown up since I last took a look at it. I'm used to working with the big name big buck programs,I can really fly with Corel, both vector and raster, so figuring out GIMP was just a matter of figuring out where the stuff was. I started working with scripts last night. GIMP really impresses me, it seems to be put together by people who understand how artists really work.
I love how you can drop Adobe brushes right into it on the fly. Hard to believe it's free.

wow this is beautiful (sssorry to be mundane) Hmm, it's very meditative, she shadows and the sunlight, the contrast between spiderweb and a marble like figure. Very Japanese in a good way. Maybe you could do adds for gimp?

cheers

andrew :)

Ssshhh, don't speak too loudly of ghosts, I swear there are 2 in this house, and they make me very angry. One day, I will tell all.

Your garden is beautiful, I prefer to think it's a garden of memories.

Hey dear lady, you are definitely slated to receive a Pay It Forward box, but I need a mailing address from you. If you could stop by the blog and provide one, I'll get right on it. (I screen all incoming comments, so any information you send will not be visible to others.)

Thanks.
