I am not a toy!

Boogie George's wife has gone missing and he
has gone to search for her. I hope everything
will be ok, I'm a bit worried!

Evil Sir Reginal Farquar had a pig burning
night at Andrew Finnie's blog and he made
the poor toys watch. This little bear managed
to escape and ran here for sanctuary. I
think it is traumatized, hopefully it will
recover. Go see the carnage if you dare!!

I'm always up for a story.

Soozcat, I have no idea what he is up to. He and the Primrose Fairies have been in such a buzz today so I think they might have had a piece of news and can't wait to blab.

For a moment there he looked like a relative of mine that had passed on. Eerie!
I love that Thurber quote!

MM and Heidi, thanks for the comments! Heidi I keep thinking I should change the quote as it's been there for awhile... but then I think...nah, it still makes me smile.
I once did a drawing of a scarecrow and sent it to an internet friend, she freaked out and said it was the spitting image of her ex-husband and sent a photo to prove it. Sometimes art is weirder than life. :)))

Boogie George, I bet yer story's got a sinister streak.

After reading your kind comments at my own blog, I came straight over. Very nice place you have here. You're creative in ways I only WISH I could be. Impressive!

GG, George is an odd one at times, he wrote a story and was just about finished with it, but then he decided he didn't like it. He said it wasn't the story he wanted to tell. It was all cold and foggy the night after that and in the middle of the night his wife got called out to help with a baby. Came dawn she still wasn't home yet. Then he got a strange visitor, they talked for awhile then he and George left together.
I have no idea what is going on.

David I like to play around when I can. Sometimes I don't have much time to do so, but it's looking more spring like and it's hard to not want to come up with a bit of fun. :)
Glad you came for a visit and I hope you will return. I think you are very creative and put a lot of thought and feeling into your work.

Boogie George's wife has run off with another chap. I hope he doesn't take it out on the bear. That poor bear looks so traumatised...look at his eyes.

Now I'm traumatised after seeing the burning.

GG, Maggie would never do that, and frankly if you saw her, you'd know that other chaps would run away faster that jackrabbits. She has a heart of gold though, maybe not so pretty on the outside but a beauty on the inside. I fear something is amiss as she would never do this to her George without a dire reason.

You saw the revised, softer version of the pig burning. I'm afraid Teddy will never recover to the once happy bear he was.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear villagers with torches and pitchforks haven't visited Sir Reggie recently.

Haha! IO knew there was a reason I was going to stick my head in your blog today! I love the teddy bear - heh, now we could have a teddy bear burning night

hahahahahahahahahah sir reg laughed evilly perhaps a duet?

Heh. Thanks for making me laugh!

see you sorry I am late, I fell down a big hole and just climbed out!

When I o home I am going to burn some bears - seriously!!! :)

Oh Andrew, did the neighbors throw you down the well again? They just don't understand artists. I think it is funny you did a René Magritte... though many, many have never understood his painting "This is not a Pipe."
My dearest fiend, please don't burn the Teds. :)))
