Cultivate

Today it's sounding like spring, thunder is rumbling and robins are singing. I saw this tiny little guy heading for my garden. Two more of them were dragging a packet of Fairy's Breath seed. I hope this means I'll have a nice garden this year.

It all depends on what they use to nourish it. DO NOT let them spread goblin dung around. It never ends well.

Marvelous sketch!

Soozcat!!!Thanks for the giggle...I really needed one today.
Note to self: NOooo to goblin doo-doo.

Nice! Good luck with your garden :)

LDahl said...

Hi Linda, we had gardening Dad memories in common. Sister sold enough extra produce in her wagon to buy a horse, a small one named Brandy. We had a refrigerator truck and shipped to four states. Lots of gigantic garden memories...when he retired and we moved to town he still managed to get a couple of extra lots and gardened his heart out. Miss him.

that is an awesome image.

LDahl said...

Thanks HC, I had a hamster once, then a friend was so worried that Hamster was lonely, he bought me another hamster as a surprise... It wasn't long before I had 17 hamsters.
One or none... the only way to deal with those little buggers! :-D
(Good luck selling your cages, nice set-up on your site)

Great! I love her shoes.....

How lucky! We could all use some extra garden help. Maybe I should give little rakes and hoes to the chipmunks and squirrels. Since we have a lack a magic in our yard!

If I had a book with all your art [and stories that go with the drawings], it would be one of my favourite books.

This chap has a mischievous face, but can I borrow him? Goblin poo and all, I'd pay him to poo in the gardens I envy tee hee hee.

LDahl said...

Thanks Melissa, they were leaving tracks all over:-D

Sharon, maybe they are chipmunks and then again, maybe their not. :))

GG, what a sweet thing to say! I could easily say the same about yours. Your stories are most wonderful, filled with magic too.
(tee hee hee.... you are a naughty one you are!!:)))

Tammie Lee said...

wonderfully adorable character, you are so lucky to have him in your garden!

Sounding like spring here too, though I still have over a foot of snow!

LDahl said...

Tammie Thank you so very much for visiting... I've found your photographs and they are so special. You have not only noticed the tiny details but also have achieved fully composed, interesting images. Not an easy task.
I'll bet you are ready to see the end of the snow this year. We keep going back and forth, so there has been a couple of weeks of one day hot one day snowy next day brilliant spring the next day gloomy, sulking winter (a little marble sized hail thrown in for good measure:))
Thanks again for your comment:)

roberta baird said...

I'm sure you can get the best of him Laird Andrew. :)))

Today we had fairy tale snow, and I got some sleep... lovely. Tomorrow is the worry, but I'm braced so ... as they say, "Good to go."
