This makes me think of fossils and old bones embedded in stone being discovered in a dig! Your colors and textures are so captivating...inviting us to look and look to see what secrets they hold. I do wish you had an image just a bit larger...I'd love a closer look at the details:> It's beautiful, Lilah!
I love the clarity - the crispness of your watercolors. The atmosphere of the colors and textures remind me of Brian Froud's handling of the medium. This is, in my opinion, (for whatever that's worth) watercoloring at it's best.
Scarecrow Haha! now I got fire and rain running through my head...arrrg! I think I need help:)))))))))
Tony LaRocca I put those eyes in there...just for you!!! hehehe!
DeeJay Thank you!!!!!!!
Thank you Carla for your ever thoughtful comment, did you click on it...it is actually bigger this time..... but I do want to be painting bigger too. The mini' are a cool way to explore, but I used to do really big canvases back when, and I'd like to get back to that.
HARDWAX, thank you..... I love the fact one can find people that like what you do in the world. ( I think I'm confusing everyone around home:)))
Lou. I want to bring the details out more without losing the total mass.
Linda thank you so very much!! I was going for the whole stone thing, I want to use it in other things..... no robots for me this week though, just doing my own 'thang' still:))))
Jaimie, thank you .... I like the conglomerate aspect in nature. I have a interestin things that accumulate... be it rock or memories.
Onclejohann, Brian Froud. As you know he is a favorite of mine!! And I think highly of your opinion, so thank you, thank you!
Thanks Tony, I love the abstract, that allows the viewer to take their own trip.. to show instead of tell. I have been exploring and not worring too much about content except at the very basic level.
cream, this is been a very interesting study... next week I want to work larger and integrate some plant or animal aspect into it.

Beautiful.
Very cool. I see so many interesting things which seem to be hidden in the details. Look great! I love it!
So pretty, I see stones, raw beauty!
This is beautiful. It looks like glass embedded with mortar and stones.
